Dr. Keith Barton


Keith Barton is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Glaucoma Specialist at Moorfields Eye Hospital, Honorary Reader in UCL Institute of Ophthalmology, Co-chair of Ophthalmology Futures Forums and Editor-in-Chief of the British Journal of Ophthalmology.
His areas of interest are the surgical management of glaucoma, especially surgical devices and secondary glaucomas, specifically the management of glaucoma in uveitis, for which he runs a dedicated clinic at Moorfields Eye Hospital. He is currently a member of the Primary Tube Versus Trabeculectomy (PTVT) Study Steering Committee, Chief Investigator in the Corneal Ancillary Study to the PTVT Study and a member of the Trial Management Committees of both the NIHR HTA-funded Treatment of Advanced Glaucoma (TAGS) and Lasers in Glaucoma and Ocular Hypertension (LIGHT) Studies.
