Dr Quiros obtained his MD from The Yale University school of medicine. He trained at the Los Angeles County Hospital/ University of Southern California residency training program and then proceeded to complete his neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at the Doheny Eye Institute.
Dr Quiros was on the faculty at the University of Southern California for over a decade, where he was the residency program director. He is currently professor of ophthalmology at the University of California Los Angeles and Director of the neuro- ophthalmology fellowship program as well as Chief of Service for Neuro-ophthalmology, orbit and oculoplastics service for Doheny Eye Centers-UCLA, also serves as the director of the first year of medical education for the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
He is the current Vice-President of the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society.
